Assistant Store Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the assistant store manager position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Overseeing store operations
  • Coordinating projects, events and promotions
  • Communicating with team members, clients, contractors and vendors
  • Selling to and assisting clients who come to the store
  • Assisting with any other team member needs
  • Supporting the team during events and promotional activities

Job Type:

  • This is full time position.
  • Compensation consists of salary + commission
  • Pay will be based on experience. Willing to train the right candidate
  • Schedule is somewhat flexible but normal hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm plus special events

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of sales or retail management experience in the home building or interior design industry preferred
  • Communication skills to express and sell Foremost Interiors products
  • Organizational skills – you will need to coordinate with the client, and store designers
  • Operation skills – you will be managing inventory, the warehouse and product displays
  • Attention to detail
  • You must be personable, approachable and like interacting with customers
  • The ability to work as a team under the direction of the store owner
